Kara and I are still alive. We just have no reason to keep a website going. We’re busy. She’s teaching. I’m teaching. She’s being an awesome Mom. I’m being an average Dad.
The only reason I’m updating now is because my niece asked us for help with WordPress, because apparently having 4 posts to a WordPress site makes one an expert. Anyway, we offered our limited knowledge.

It’s October! Who doesn’t love fall in Michigan? The leaves are slowly turning to lovely shades of orange, yellow, and red. The temperature is dropping into comfy sweatshirt range. Homemade applesauce fills the house with the smell of cinnamon. The smell of the fire mixed fills the air outside. Comfort food like baked mac and cheese starts becoming acceptable again. The hot chocolate starts brewing in the evenings. The local doughnut joint starts selling apple cider doughnuts. I’m pretty sure it’s my favorite season. How anybody can live elsewhere is beyond me.

We’ve switched from the old HTML site to a new and improved WordPress site. We’re hoping this will encourage us to post more. I highly doubt it, but it’s possible. In the mean time, I pray you all enjoyed your fourth!
